She joined Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her first film appearance was a role in Girl 6 in 1996. Later, she appeared in New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo starred with Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo was a regular actor on the NBC drama series Law & Order between 2001 between 2001 and 2004 as the role of Detective Ana Cordova. Then, he appeared as Detective Ana Cordova on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo has also appeared in films such as El Cantante, Remember Me as well as a variety of other films. Navedo was a regular character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 through 2013. Superfast! was her first film. The parody film of The Fast and the Furious series was released in the year 2015. Navedo began her professional acting career in the world of daytime soaps. She was on the show as Linda Soto, the ABC soap show One Life to Live from 1995 until 1997. In 1999, she became a part of CBS's soap-opera Guiding Light.
